Hey guys! New story here. I've been playing a lot of this game called Genshin Impact, and this story involves characters in that universe! Below, I have two videos with voice lines for the characters which also show you how they look like, to help you imagine what's going on. I hope it helps and I hope you guys enjoy the story!
Chongyun is a young Exorcist, from a family of Exorcists in Liyue. In line with his family profession, he is a pure soul, blessed with a tremendous amount of positive energy coursing through his natural body. In fact, he contains so much positive energy that his job as an exorcist is quite easy. He just walks into the room, and his immense aura simply causes the demons to flee from the sheer positivity.
Chongyun is a wholesome, honest person and that’s ironically, exactly why he does not appreciate his “gift”. It does not feel rewarding or fair for Chongyun. He wishes he would be able to actually perform his duty as an Exorcist, rather than feel like a lame, cheap trick.
To compensate for it, Chongyun tries his best to make up for his “curse”, and study his very best as an Exorcist and by perfecting the arts that he’d need to master in order to effectively fight demons and evil. His practice drives him to be patient, powerful, respectful and above all, noble. Patiently, he waits for the opportunity to perform his duties. Powerful enough to slay any foe that challenges goodness in the world. Respectful and friendly in order to keep that goodness, and Noble to the point of pursuing a way to suppress his inner positivity to battle evil, sword forward.
There is one other aspect of his condition that encourages Chongyun’s desire to control it and himself. When he experiences a hot, burning sensation or a strong emotion, his mood and surrounding energy can shift drastically, causing him to even blackout at times. When in good spirits, his actions can be comparable to a happy drunkard.
When he ate hot food with friends at a restaurant in Liyue, he chased his friends around the restaurant after he insisted there was something to expel around here. After planting a hand drawn sigil on his friends back, he chased her around the restaurant with a paper sword he crafted. His happy, fully engrossed animated and pure expression would not be forgotten by those in attendance, especially because of Chongyun’s reputation to be very stoic and collected.
This is why Chongyun strives so hard to be disciplined and an expert. He must control and not make a fool of himself. Xiangling insisted it was fine afterwards despite her blush, but Chongyun still felt embarrassed and vowed to control himself. Perhaps, this plays into the nature of his Vision. His elemental Vision of Cyro gives him distinct advantages, being able to command ice at will among other things. They say your personality often mimic’s your Vision, afterall.
Chongyun’s cold, solid and pure desires lead him down the path of righteousness. His methods are noble and diligent in all facets. Not every angle and possibility is considered an option to someone like Chongyun.
Here enters Childe, pronounced Child. The 11th Harbinger of the Fatui.
“So, you need me to capture a demon for you?” Chongyun asked, looking up at Childe with his sky blue eyes, which rested cat-like below his icy blue messy hair.
“That’s right! And I heard you’re the best Exorcist in all of Liyue! Which is why I asked for you specifically.” Childe responded, staring down at Chongyun. A young, slender but fit stoic Exorcist stared back, wearing pure white and blue clothes. Very fitting for an ice Exorcist, Childe thought. A short hoodie on his upper body, baggy white pants that end above his shins and a white, blue and gold draping cloth running down across his abdomen and legs, for traditional purposes Childe presumes. The gold outlines and wrist protector really stands out on Chongyun’s compact, and healthy frame, which almost dwarfs when compared the sword on his back.
“Well, I appreciate that sir Taraglia-”
“Please, my friends call me Childe.” Childe said with a huge smile on. The kind of friendly smile that almost makes it seem like his eyes are closed. It somehow makes you much more endearing, too.
“Sorry, Childe. I appreciate the compliment, but I don’t know if I can capture the demon for you.”
Childe’s eyes rose as he looked down, his face pulling back in mild shock. His darker blue eyes peeked through his light brown, healthy set of almost red hair. His broad shoulders rose, proud with a gloved hand at his side, Childe’s grey top comfortably held onto his lean body, commanding a chummy air of excitement and respect. His red cape and scarf shifted slightly as he himself shifted just a bit, turning his warm face down towards the stoic Exorcist.
Chongyun took note of the red mask on Childe’s head, but quickly looked away. He did wonder if it had a purpose but knew better than to stare.
“Why do you think you’d struggle to capture the demon?”
“Because… I never actually met a demon. They run from me every time I get close. So, I can’t perform a real exorcism and capture it, like you’re requesting of me, sir.”
“Please, please. Drop the formalities, just call me Childe. But I see the dilemma here… I bet this normally makes your job real easy, huh? Except, for cases like these.”
“Yes, exactly.” Chongyun softly responded, lowering his head in shame.
“Hey, that’s alright! Lighten up, I’m sure we can think of something!”
Chongyun raised his head and looked quizzically at Childe.
“What do you mean?”
“Well… well, I’ve heard a bit about you Chongyun. I’m willing to bet… that this is because of your positive energy right?” Childe knew about Chongyun’s history and backstory. The powerful, positive aura Childe could sense confirmed that story too.
“There was a very interesting encounter with Xiangling that I’m sure you're happy you don’t remember, but you had to have been told about.”
Chongyun blushed and nodded quickly. “Yes, that’s right. But I’m not sure what that has to do with this.”
“Well…” Childe began, looking around and putting on an provoking expression with his hand at his chin.
“Ah! Ah, I think I have a solution Chongyun! An answer for this problem of yours!”
Chongyun’s eyes lit up and he couldn’t wait to hear what Childe had to say next.
“Not to mention, it’s a pretty replicable… uh, exercise? You can do it before you have to perform an Exorcism every time! Well… haha, I guess it depends on how many exorcisms you’re performing!”
“Wait, what is it? And tell me quick, before my positive energy takes over!” Chongyun insisted, tensing up and trying to make sure he doesn’t get too excited. He’s heard of Childe and respects the position he’s in, as a Harbinger of the Fatui. However, he also heard all about the rumors about the Fatui. He's using those rumors of subterfuge and politics to temper his expectations and excitement. But Chongyun's most driving desire is to find a way to control himself and restrain his positive energy. Plus, he feels like he's a good judge of character and Childe has been nothing but friendly and welcoming in their interactions, both through letter and face-to-face.
Meanwhile, Childe laughed and couldn’t help but find Chongyun’s apparent enthusiasm contagious. “Alright, instead of explaining then, how about we just get on with it now! It’ll take too long to explain and-”
“Okay, okay, what is it!?” Chongyun pressured Childe, who laughed and took a step back as Chongyun excitedly approached him.
Chongyun stepped back and apologized as he looked down and remembered his training. He knows he has to be more disciplined like this, if he’s actually going to be able to fight a demon.
He stood and closed his hands together in prayer, and closed his eyes. Slowly, he spoke.
“I trust you, Mr. Childe of the Fatui. How can you help me contain myself?”
“Haha, please! The formalities, kid, just Childe, please! Don’t make me sound old, I still have a babyface, alright? But, but, but. I think this will loosen us up and help open your eyes a bit!”
Chongyun looked up from his stance just in time to see Childe’s leg moving forward with surprising motion and swiftness, rising up higher until he felt a strong pressure explode between his legs.
Suddenly, Chongyun’s privates felt vandalized and his eyes couldn’t help but cross and sink down as he doubled over.
As the young man started to take in the situation, he looked up at Childe, who he trusted far too quickly and easily. Shocked and hurt, his mouth opened wide in a distinct oval shape, puckering towards Childe as he stood over him, as if absolutely nothing out of the ordinary just happened.
Chongyun’s step stuttered and he whimpered, looking back down in pain and clutching desperately a wound between his legs. It took him to his knees, and the young Exorcist hunched over deeper.
As Chongyun fell to his knees, Childe noticed the positive energy dissipate and followed the falling young man, keeping close and reached out in time as tender faced young man went down knees first. Gracefully, he led the incapciated Exorcist to the ground and realizing immediately how frosty to the touch Chongyun felt. It caused the Harbinger to shiver.
“Oh boy you’re cold!”
“Ahh… why… why did you do that…” Chongyun moaned with question and hurt, as tears started to form in his eyes and a sick, burning agony began to build up in his netherregion. He began to cough and pulled a hand up from his crotch, which was still being held closely with the other hand through his baggy pants.
“Well, we have to do something about that positive energy, right!? Nothing will ruin a guy’s mood like a kick to the jewels, you know?”
Chongyun groaned and clutched his aching testicles with one hand and used the other that he used to cough into, to push him off the floor. Childe’s hands were also helping him to do this, so he used the one on the hand to pull on Childe’s arm.
“You wanna get up already? You can rest for a moment before you go in…”
“N-no… I… I can take one more.”
Childe laughed in shock and awe as Chongyun tried to pull himself up.
“Did I just hear that right? You want another-”
“I… still feel positivity. One more time, please. I… want this to be done right.”
Childe laughed and couldn’t believe that his plan was being accepted so easily by Chongyun. He barely had to convince him and now he wants even more.
“Okay, I won’t hit you that hard though, alright? We still need you to catch that demon, and you can’t do that if you’re throwing up on the floor.”
Childe helped Chongyun get to his feet and he looked down at him, legs shaking like he were standing on ice. Chongyun's breathe was harsh, and it was clear to Childe that he was trying to power through to hit the mark that he set up. Childe was impressed with Chongyun’s discipline and ambition, but somewhat appalled yet charmed by his naivety.
“I appreciate this trust and your ethic. I hope this works, for both of our sakes!”
Childe let one hand that was holding Chongyun up, and used it to go palm up through the cloth that was lying over and weakly veiling the front of Chongyun’s pants, and slammed in with hard yet restrained pressure. Childe felt Chongyun’s package flatten and fill out under his hand and thought he was packing pretty well for someone with such a young face and cold body. But then again, Childe knows he’s packing too, and his face isn’t much rougher.
But that wasn’t a thought for Childe for too long, as after his hand pulled back from Chongyun’s privates, Chongyun shrieked out in a high pitch and collapsed to the floor. Childe stepped to the side and took a step or two back, giving Chongyun space to writhe to himself if he wished to.
Chongyun rolled and shook for a few moments, clutching his battered balls and painfully seething through his lips as the pain boiled up from inside his nethers.
"Tsss... eeee.... oohoo... ah..."
Woefully, Chongyun rested his head on his arm, wincing and whining, one hand nursing his assaulted balls through his legs. Childe saw Chongyun’s hand clutching himself through his baggy white pants and felt a tinge of guilt, watching the innocent young man go through this just because he trusted him.
The waning positive energy from before, completely drowned and Childe could tell. The aura felt more somber and heavy. Almost humid, but also very cold.
“Ahh… ahhhh… mmm… it hurts… hurts so bad…” Chongyun painfully rushed out, a burning breath after each silence.
“Well… you’re not feeling anymore positive energy, right?” Childe awkwardly asked with a smile, rubbing his hair.
“Ahh… no… not at all… I want to die…”
“Well, okay. Don’t do that, but take that feeling…” Childe proceeded to help Chongyun up carefully. He needed a lot more help to be carried this time, as it felt like Chongyun desperately wanted to lie on the floor.
“… and go in there, and capture the demon. Before, you start feeling positive again. Okay!?” Childe exclaimed, holding up Chongyun with one arm barely, and opening the door with the other.
“I’m gonna toss you in now, alright? Come back out here after you capture him.”
Chongyun didn’t respond, but did groan after a moment of silence.
“Please let me know you heard me, I can’t throw you in without knowing you’re ok.”
“Ok… and, Childe…”
“Yeah?”
“No matter what… don’t come in… let me handle… demon.”
“Okay!”
Childe began to move Chongyun into the demon-ridden house, then let him down as softly as one could put down a heavy, cold ragdoll. Gently rubbing Chongyun’s side, Childe wished him luck and closed the door softly behind him.
Childe wondered if this will work at all. His plan is going better than expected, but maybe too well. He didn’t expect Chongyun to ask for another hit below the belt. What if he’s too weak to take on the demon now? But, Signora needed this demon and Childe heard about how effective and trusting Chongyun is. There didn’t seem to be a better option than this. If this fails, he’ll have to just try again.
Some time passed, and Childe began to hear some strange noises coming from the inside. Screams from another world, crashing and a blizzard all mixed and composed to arrange something harmonious yet intimidating.
“That sounds like an exorcism… I think?” Childe said to himself. He was happy to hear something that sounds right, but he wasn’t sure if Chongyun would be able to capture this demon on his own in a weakened state. Childe considered going in to help him after a minute or two, but remembered what Chongyun told him. Even as he was in brutal pain, he warned Childe not to interfere with the exorcism. Very noble of him for sure, but Childe felt like he could totally handle anything that goes on in there. He’s just not so good at showing restraint and capturing. He’s much too excitable to be chained down by procedures.
Plus, even if the demon would require him to use his energy to power up, he didn’t want to have to waste all his energy before he needs to. Not to mention… it wouldn’t be the first time something goes wrong for him in Liyue. Childe couldn’t afford for something to go wrong right now. Worse case scenario, Chongyun fails and he’ll have to invoke another Exorcist.
The door creaked open, frightening Childe and causing him to use his energy to pull out a sword in defense, but he saw Chongyun’s head creak out.
“Oh, you scared me! Is everything alright?” Childe said, as he put away his sword.
“Yes… it worked. Thank you.”
“It did! Awesome, yeah!” Childe said with a huge, friendly smile on and grabbing Chongyun’s head, embracing him with excitement. He could feel some positive energy emanating from Chongyun as well. He must be recovering.
“Did you black out there too, like you usually do?”
“I don’t think so… but looking back, is a bit of a painful haze. So, I’m not sure.” Chongyun replied, somewhat shy.
“Ah, well that’s great! So, where is the demon?”
Chongyun’s head was let go and he reached into his inner pocket and pulled out a vial with a strange, dark energy to it. Childe took one look at it and began to understand why Signora asked for it.
“Wow, that’s awesome! Let me hold onto it-”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t think I should.” Chongyun coldly replied, as he pulled the vial back.
Childe kept his smile on as he continued the conversation. “But why not? This was my commission for you, was it not?”
“Yes, but this is a very dangerous and special demon. I’m obligated to bring this back to my family, who are experts on how to vanquish it.”
“Ah, come on!? Just let me hold it, let me see what I’m paying you for!”
Chongyun looked down at the vial and felt unwell at letting something this dangerous leave his hands. If something were to happen to Childe, he wouldn’t forgive himself. It’s more important than anything as an Exorcist, to make sure that no one gets hurt and that evil is safely vanquished.
“Come on, friend. I helped you actually fight a demon! You haven’t done that yet! Reward me, just let me hold it. Please? I’m a Harbinger for crying out loud! I can handle a vial.”
Chongyun looked up at Childe and saw a warm, friendly face soothing him. And he’s right afterall, he is a Harbinger. And he was the man who helped him find a way to actually fairly fight demons! Although he’s certainly aching right now, and it wasn’t from the fight with the demon though.
Chongyun began to feel positivity clearly return to him, and he warmed up with a smile. He was finally able to fight a demon, after all. It would be rude to decline Childe's one request.
“Well… okay. But be careful Childe, I don’t want anything bad to happen.”
“Oh trust me, I don’t want that either!”
Childe was carefully given the vial and held it dearly. For a moment, he was in awe at the specimen in his hands and forgot about his mission. He peaked up from the vial and saw Chongyun looking at the vial intently, then looking up at Childe.
The young, wholesome Exorcist’s expression changed to one of admiration, and a friendly smile sprung upon his face. Childe returned the smile and clutched the vial with the intent that Chongyun just put away.
Suddenly, Childe raised his leg and swung it into Chongyun’s crotch once again, tenderizing Chongyun’s unsuspecting, sore spuds.
Chongyun’s eyes went wide open as he backed up and looked aimlessly in fear and confusion.
A pool of water formed by Childe under his command, and the vial was dropped into it. The pool closed up again, and Chongyun had no idea this was happening as he was preoccupied with the sudden low blow he encountered like a snake in the grass. His hands clutched his balls as he dropped to his knees and looked up woefully. The positive energy that was bubbly just a moment ago, has popped and began to drag on the air.
“It’s nothing personal, Chongyun. Honestly. But I really need this vial.”
Chongyun was still comprehending the actions Childe took against him, and trying to wrap his head around why he would do it, and just how much pain he really is in before Childe sent another thundering kick to his crotch again, even though his hands were clasped over his tenders. The kick slammed into Chongyun's clenched hands, causing the shocked, handsome young man to cry out and curl up in protection. His eyes and mouth opened and sizzled along with his writhed on the floor, desperately holding his sack with sore fingers. Though, his fingers were the least of his concerns.
“Also, heads up. You always want to keep your eyes wide open, okay?”
Childe laughed, seeing Chongyun curled on the floor and slowly kicking his legs. The young man looked out of breath and damaged, and Childe was confident that the smaller, innocent and unsuspecting young man was down for the count in his current state. There’s no way he’ll be able to catch up or confront him, the 11th of the Harbingers as he is. Childe did not hold very much back in either of those two kicks afterall. Not to mention, Chongyun already took a couple hits below the belt not too long ago. Childe’s only worried that he didn’t break the young Exorcist’s fertility. Chongyun certainly didn’t deserve that.
Childe confidently left Chongyun on the floor and walked away, knowing the vial was safe for him to retrieve whenever he wanted.
Chongyun lied on the floor for in ugly pain. This pain was the worst of his life, and he never expected to have to go through something like this, especially by someone he trusted and considered a friend. He could barely think or breathe through the immense agony, but Chongyun practiced everyday to focus and strengthen himself. He's a skilled warrior who's meant to be able to withstand pain; it's just that pain like this was something beyond his ability to defend himself against. That dull, yet burning, deep and putrid agony sickened the thin, tested young man as he tried to withstand the pain and hold in his tears and cries.
Chongyun couldn't help but feel confused as he lied in utmost agony on the floor, but soon realized that this can't be it. Childe still has that Demon that he just captured. The first demon that Chongyun ever battled. He had to get it back and bring it to his family. He cannot lie on the floor, clutching his privates and letting agony consume him. He was betrayed and in tremendous pain, but he still had a job to do. Chongyun knows he has to get up and confront Childe.
He looked up and saw Childe in the distance through his hazy vision. He had a splitting headache and devastating waves of pain radiating from his testicles, but Chongyun knew he had to get up. Childe didn't look too far away yet.
So, Chongyun began to get up, but instantly fell victim to an overwhelming wave of sickening pain and moaned on the floor, clutching his testicles with both hands. This level of pain was truly beyond the comprehension and ability for Chongyun. He couldn't imagine any man being able to handle this. This level of pain felt insurmountable, and it contributed greatly to the feelings and energy that radiated within him. Weakness, fear, anger, embarrassment, betrayal and revenge all coursed through him, mounting into some form of realization and determination.
As his hands desperately clutched his sore, burning testicles, Chongyun used his vision of Cyro to comfort his swollen, aching balls. He continued to do it, until his manhood was entirely encaged in ice, close to the skin and formed around the shape of his ample family heirlooms. This numbed the pain quickly and significantly. Under the weight of his mission and greatsword on his back, Chongyun stood up and slowly made his way to Childe, who was still casually walking away.
Childe continued to walk away, but soon turned around because of a strange, ominous energy coming from behind him. He saw Chongyun approaching him slowly, and found himself impressed. He couldn’t help but laugh.
He laughed as he looked forward, holding his forehead and shaking his head. Sighing, he turned around with a large smile on his face.
“Hey, Chongyun! I didn’t think you’d be able to get up after that!”
Chongyun approached silently, but Childe backed up as Chongyun got closer. He could feel his energy, and it was his natural reaction to retreat from it.
“Hey, hey now. Don’t get too close, alright? Let’s talk about this.”
Chongyun grimaced as he clutched his sword and said nothing. But Childe could read his face and the dirt ground beneath them. He realized retreating was pointless. Plus, he was looking forward to a good stretch to keep his long bones limber and young.
“Ah, I don’t blame you. I played you and you want revenge.”
“You took advantage of me!” Chongyun angrily let out, fuming and anger starting to overwhelm him.
“It’s nothing personal! Man, haha. If I had a mora for every time I said that.”
Chongyun grimace deepened and pulled out his greatsword. He tried to focus his energy and anger onto the sword, to keep himself disciplined.
“Hey, hey, hey… let’s think this through-“
“There’s nothing more you can say!” Chongyun justly interrupted. “I can forgive you for taking advantage of me Childe, but I cannot allow you to leave with that demon!”
Childe laughed and shook his head, looking down at the ground before he turned back with a large, plastered smile that Chongyun has begun to realize isn’t as friendly as he once thought it was.
“Come on, Exorcist. Surely, you understand-”
“Submit! For judgement!”
Chongyun already raised his hand, holding the greatsword in his other, and summoned a large sword crafted out ice above him as he declared his noble intentions before swiftly swinging his arm down, propelling the sword of ice right at Childe, who quickly rolled to the side. Landing on his feet, his light brown hair shifting with his motion and red mask-like hairpiece hardly moving an inch.
“Come on, now! I’m not one to say no to a fight, but-”
“Then surrender the demon for execution, Childe!”
“Listen. You know I can’t give this to you, I set this all up for a reason! If I let you have it, then I got nothing from this. Tell you what, next time I hear about a demon that I don’t want, I’ll let you know, and we can do this all over again! I’ll show up with you at front of the door, I’ll smack you in the nuts until it really starts to burn so you can fight fair with the demon and-”
“Enough!” Chongyun screamed, embarrassed at the memory. How naïve could he be to believe Childe, that allowing him to alter his energy and body by way of his testicles, would be a quick, easy way to finally allow himself to fairly confront a demon. Not that it didn’t work… but it was clearly a ploy to weaken him. And he was beginning to doubt the nobility of it too. Isn’t that just another cheap trick?
Chongyun felt his cheeks heat up in a shameful blush. Frustrated and overwhelmed, Choyngun cried out and raced towards Childe, who just laughed again, cockily standing tall with his lean frame and grey attire. His crimson cape and scarf blew as he raised his arm, welcoming the cold, determined young Exorcist.
“Aww, did I touch a nerve? Was it, this one!?”
Childe dodged the sword attack that Chongyun threw at him, ducking under the 45 degree angled strike, and once again aimed his fist under Chongyun’s draping cloth that hangs over his body, right to the delicate parts that lie softly between them. He didn’t really want to hurt Chongyun, and knew that only a soft hit to those already sore parts would be enough to incapacitate him. Then, he can go for a grand finale on a less sensitive region, to end it without ending Chongyun’s family line.
However, as Childe’s fist made contact through the soft cloth that was Chongyun’s pants, they hit something hard and cold, and a low cracking noise was also heard. Childe’s fist retracted and he scurried out of the way.
“What!?” Childe asked aloud, holding his hand, cringing slightly. He’s been through worse, but he didn’t expect to hit a pair of hard, fully solid and unyielding objects as he sent a low punch to Chongyun’s nether regions.
Chongyun kept himself still as he looked down in a small state of shock, praying to Rex Lapis that surrounding his testicles in ice was enough to protect him from further nauseating agony, and that that cracking noise wasn’t his balls breaking.
Thankfully, the ice either numbed his balls to the point of feelinglessness or the protection he placed on them was totally effective at absorbing the blow. The ice was strong, clean and fitted close to the bare skin of his bruised testicles. They absorbed the blow completely, protecting Chongyun’s fertility, with only a small crack in it’s defenses to show for it.
Chongyun turned towards Childe the instant he felt confident, holding onto his sword. The tip of the giant greatsword leaned onto the ground, waiting to be dragged towards the heart of an evil-doer.
“Oh! I see! You surrounded your balls with ice! Haha, nice move! Both numbs the pain that I expected you to still be feeling, and also protect them from further attack! Very clever!” Childe innocently exclaimed. He was honestly impressed and excited.
“Maybe this could be more interesting than I thought! I love a good fight. I am the 11th of the Harbingers, after all!”
With that, Childe pulled a bow out from a water puddle he spawned right over his ear and wound it back, creating an arrow of water as he did so.
“Bring it on!” Childe cried out.
Childe let his arrow fly directly at Chongyun, who dashed out of the way of it just to have to dive out of the way of another one and another one as Childe continued to shoot out conjured water arrows with frighteningly impossible speed. One struck Chongyun’s shoulder, causing the young Exorcist to cry out and wince, being pushed back by the explosive force of the condensed water arrow. The messy blue hair covered his eyes as his head was down, but blistered through his eye slits as icicles, as he focused his head just in time to see Childe jumping down at him after a leaping strike. An excited smile was clearly drawn on the Harbinger’s face as a steel sword was held in his reared hand.
Chongyun just raised his greatsword in time, making loud, saving contact with Childe’s much smaller sword and pushing him back as used his small but deceptively powerful body to propel his sword and energy forward.
Childe was pushed back at the force, sliding on his feet as he kept his eyes focused on Chongyun who was still recovering and slow. Childe covered the floor in front of him with water and quickly dashed forward with another sword strike, which was once again blocked as Chongyun raised his arms up, holding his greatsword tip downwards, his body twisted as he barely managed to block in time.
This time, as he went to lift his sword and push Childe back, he found there no force to lift his sword up against. His giant sword found its way well over his head, arms high and body totally exposed.
Chongyun’s cat-like eyes widened in shock just before Childe jabbed the blunt handle of his sword into Chongyun’s solar plexus, causing the young man to bend over and gasp out without a moment to prepare for Childe’s next attack, a twirling back lick to Chongyun’s base, swiping him off his feet.
Chongyun fell to the floor, sword still in hand but distracted by the sudden and swift movements of the tall, whimsical and smiling young man who Chongyun was calling a friend until not too long ago.
Childe jumped up and covered his foot in a sheath of water, propelling his foot downwards, screaming and heading straight towards Chongyun’s midsection.
“Don’t worry, this won’t kill you!”
As Childe’s foot metered down from his high jump, Chongyun had just enough wherewithal to use a hand to shield his stomach with ice energy. However, doing this removed the ice shield he had protecting his testicles, which were still feeling the effects of being entombed in an ice cage. Chongyun could not feel them, thankfully for him at the time being, and he was not aware of their sudden freedom. Additionally, as they were remarkably cold, they would not swing, but instead shrivel up close to his pelvis.
As Chongyun protected his midsection with ice, Childe’s hydro-infused foot crashed down into the ice shield, freezing it and forcing Childe’s foot to a cold halt.
Childe grunted and tried to pull his foot out, but it was tightly frozen and Chongyun quickly realized his advantage.
“One with my blade!
Chongyun swung over his sword from the floor, at the frozen at the leg Childe, who barely managed to dodge under it, collapsing his body and twisting his leg as he fell to the floor.
“AHhh! Damn it!” Childe screamed as he fell to the floor and clutched his leg. Chongyun looked down at Childe, leg still frozen to his body, with the other lying helplessly to the other side, his grey pants tight at the split of his legs, and Chongyun was focused.
Chongyun would never consider this under normal circumstances but under the influence of frustrating energy due to Childe’s actions, Chongyun saw the opportunity in front of him and felt it just to respond and give Childe back what he brought into the relationship.
“Swift and merciful!”
Chongyun pulled a leg in, kept his icicle eyes between Childe’s own spread legs and pushed his black shoe into Childe’s bulging crotch, instantly feeling sick at the contact with Childe’s meaty delicates. It felt violating. Chongyun instantly regretted his decision and knew what he just did was unhonorable.
“Ahhh! Ohhhhh hohoho…”
Childe pulled his leg in as Chongyun mercifully retracted his foot, and unfroze the connection between the two of them. Chongyun allowed Childe to roll over and nurse the assaulted delicate bits between his legs, backing off and jumping into attention.
“I-I apologize for that! I should be better than that!”
Chongyun lowered his head and looked away from Childe shamefully, feeling sick at the recollection of Childe’s balls under his shoe. It feels dirty and gross, and Chongyun woefully repented as best he could in the moment.
Childe on the other hand, was breathing out slowly on the floor sounding like there was something burning, touching his skin as both of his gloved hands were carefully holding his balls, as he was on his stomach. He rolled onto his side, facing Chongyun as the Exorcist hiding his face of shame. The 11th’s face on the other hand, appeared somewhat high and otherly, while morphing between these states of anguish, nausea, shock and awe.
“Ohh… ohh oh… wow, you know… ahh… oh, man. That actually… feels kinda good, you know.”
Childe lied on his side for a few moments, stretching his leg and body before pulling himself onto his knees. Here, he coughed out forcefully, in attempt to remove something from his stomach and then he laughed at something strange.
Chongyun couldn’t help but look over as he heard Childe’s wild accusation, and was further perplexed yet concerned by Childe’s reaction. Then, as the two made eye contact, Childe’s eyes rolled and his face bore down, his face and voice being taken over by something sick, and begging to force its way out through his throat.
Childe took a glove off and sent that hand under his pants to assess the damages directly. He let out a sharp noise as the touch burned him and he lied flatly on the floor for a moment, before he raised his bottom slightly and shifted.
“Alright… not so good actually haha…” Childe groaned as he got to a knee and laughed. “Oh, boy… I didn’t expect that from you, Exorcist... I thought… damn, you keep on surprising me.” Childe looked up with a smile on his red face, looking almost proud in the moment.
“I apologize. But please. Hand over the demon so we can end this.”
“Oh, end it now?!”
Childe then laughed and got himself on a knee, a hand still holding his manhood from the inside of his pants. He pulled out the same hand and used it to pull down on his crotch, giving himself more room to breathe.
“End it after you got a clean, dirty hit in? What about me, huh?”
Childe then put both hands to the floor, and a pool began to form. The pool expanded by the moment and Chongyun dashed back several feet as he felt something ominous approaching.
“You’re gonna want to get further away. Trust me.”
Chongyun clutched his sword but managed to stay loose as he anxiously awaited Childe’s next move.
“Riptide!”
With that, a large bubbling exploded from the pool in front of Childe and an enormous, ocean blue figure began emerging from the water. The figure was long and wide with distinct stripes running vertically from Chongyun’s perspective, and it grew and grew in size as it jumped out of the pool it was conjured from. Chongyun loosened his grip on his sword in awe at the sheer size of the beast in front of him.
Then, Chongyun noticed two large flippers emerge from the pool as it dwarfed over him and he suddenly realized Childe just spawned a large, fully grown life-size whale right in front of him.
Chongyun started to run further away as the whale sung loudly as it reached its climax and started to come back down to the ground, falling in Chongyun’s direction.
Even with Chongyun running away from the impact just barely in time, the splash damage of the falling whale was immense and thrusted Chongyun away from ground zero and covering him with debris of water.
Chongyun groaned on the floor and began to get up, looking down and around himself, seeing and feeling wetness everywhere on him. He could barely see through his long hair, but saw Childe standing up in the distance. Childe’s smile was clear and loud as ever, even through the water dripping from Chongyun's icy hair.
The two shared a stare as Childe drew out his bow again, and pulled on its strings.
“Better be careful! Don’t want to freeze yourself now, haha!”
Childe aimed his bow at the sky and conjured several arrows at the same time, sending them flying as incoming hail towards Chongyun. Childe reared back again and again, doing the same and sending 3 sets of arrows towards Chongyun.
Chongyun clutched his sword and danced his eyes between both the incoming arrows and Childe just to make sure there was nothing more up Childe’s sleeve, as the young frost Exorcist considered what to do next. The incoming water arrows did not leave Chongyun much time to consider, but he quickly and cleverly understood what to do next.
With a battlecry and flip, Chongyun slammed his greatsword to the ground in an icy explosion, sending a large iceblast forward and up at the angle of the incoming water arrows and blocking Childe’s view of Chongyun in the icy explosion. Childe sent another few waves of arrows up, at varying degrees and locations to cover the large area of land in front of him. He needed to make sure there’s enough distance between him and Chongyun, as the kick to his nuts was still affecting Childe greatly and he was nowhere near as quick as he was before. At the least, he certainly felt weaker and needed more time to recover.
However, Childe’s dark blue eyes widened in awe as he saw Chongyun running up from the explosion he made, swinging his sword out in front of him as he sent another cone of frost at the upcoming water arrows.
“A touch of frost!”
Those arrows froze in place and with great agility, Chongyun jumped to and between the arrows, freezing each oncoming set of arrows that Childe already shot at him, going higher and higher as he meets more and more arrows as he climbs the angles, his path carved by the ice sprayed by his greatsword and energy.
“Wow. I would have thought only a Knight of Favonious would have this kind of ability and training... that looks like so much fun!” Childe let out as he watched Chongyun effortless jump between arrows and climbing higher and higher.
Childe shook himself out of his admiration and shot more arrows towards Chongyun as he retreated, hoping to delay Chongyun until he can think of a response. Forcing Chongyun to continue to freeze more and more arrows unless he is willing to take a hit and fall from such a height is a great way to take up some time. Chongyun must be several stories up by now, and he’s still going.
Childe continued to watch Chongyun drift and jump around his arrows and he just couldn’t help himself anymore. He put away his bow and pulled out his sword, bending his knees and looking up. He cupped his balls with his free hand in order to protect them and keep them from moving or swinging against anything, and placed the hand with a sword on the floor before he propelled himself up with a gush of water, as a geyser aimed diagonally up at the now downtrending Chongyun.
Chongyun pushed off of an icicle as he noticed Childe rapidly approaching him, and then jumped back some feet, spreading his legs to catch two icicles with the bottom of his feet. He held a powerful, balanced stance with his sword out in front, disciplined and in anticipation.
Childe laughed and at the last second, turned his shoulder in and pushed out a wave of water, further drenching Chongyun and sending him back where he jumped from as he was blocking with his sword, breaking several icicles on his rise. The icicles pierced through his pure white Exorcist garb, exploding on his pure white back and ripping open bitter wounds on Chongyun before he stopped his ascent by forming a wall of ice behind him, catching him coldly.
Chongyun winced as he looked down at the approaching Childe, who was now also jumping between icicles, although at a somewhat careful pace. Chongyun reared back on the icewall and shattered it as he went down to meet Childe sword first, as an artillery attack,
Childe grimaced as Chongyun approached, not having much time to defend himself but using his sword as a horizontal block, using his power to keep Chongyun from slamming him to the floor, who had his legs spread again between two icicles that were at the perfect distance to allow him to have a perfect power stance. His bottom was towards the sky, and he himself was like an arrow sent from the heavens. It took all within Childe to hold back Chongyun.
“Aha… you know, if I wasn’t feeling so weak still from that dirty kick before, I’d-”
Childe shifted under the pressure and had to refocus his energy to keep himself from falling back. Chongyun’s power and energy was pressing down on him, challenging the 11th Harbinger.
“I’d be able to handle this!”
Childe shifted his weight, causing Chongyun to lose his balance and slide off from Childe’s sword. Chongyun was quick to recover and expertly used both nimble feet to step on an icicle and jump off it, following Childe as Childe tried to climb up the ice arrows that were still frozen.
As Childe rose, he felt the icicles cracking under him. He realized he might not be able to go back down that way and began to prepare for a safe descent.
Out of the corner of his eye, Childe saw Chongyun running right behind him and getting closer. He knows Chongyun is faster than him right now, although the adrenaline is certainly kicking in. He’s feeling fine, although a little sluggish. He knows that will go away in another minute though. He just has to stall for a little bit more and then he’s in the driver’s seat again.
Remembering that the ice cracks over time, Childe remembered the ice shield that Chongyun placed over his testicles earlier, and realized that although it was fully solid and didn’t break after the first strike, subsequent strikes will break the shield down. The next hit will probably freeze Chongyun in place and give Childe the time he needs to recover properly.
Childe smiled and turned around, pressing atop an icicle, feeling it crack under his foot and then pushed off it, shattering it completely with the force. Childe geared his sword up and covered it and his arms with water as he careened towards Chongyun who was right behind him, but jumped back as he saw Childe land fully on an icicle.
Chongyun lifted his sword and swung it to meet Childe’s and focused his energy to freeze Childe’s water again when they met.
“Shouldn’t let your guard down!”
Childe yelled as he curled in his legs and twisted his body away, causing the water to block Chongyun’s view with its scope and beauty. Watching the water swirling around the young Harbinger in a dazzling display of natural beauty and skill, Chongyun didn’t even see anything else as he felt a strong pressure connect between his legs, lifting him from his icicle and causing his mind to go blank.
As Childe bulleted past Chongyun, just as his boots were facing and just under his cloth garb, the 11th Harbinger extended his leg out and pushed it up from underneath, crashing into Chongyun’s tightly wound up balls directly and using him as a propelling force.
Childe instantly felt something much softer than the anticipated iceballs under his boot. He distinctly understood that the two orbs he felt under his foot were honest, delicate meats and not a hard exoskeleton that he assumed he would have to break through to get to the mushy center. Childe put almost all of his power behind that too, hoping to crack them enough to stall Chongyun and push him down to the ground quickly.
Childe instantly let go of his water veil and grabbed out onto a nearby icicle, turning his body to watch Chongyun and his reaction, as he did not expect to make direct contact with the young Exorcist’s fertility. Childe’s smile was gone and a serious expression was plastered on his handsome, angular face. He watched intently.
Chongyun felt the strong pressure build up and lift him off his feet, but then he felt nothing. His balls were still cold and numb, and the contact didn’t register with him, just confusion. Then, annoyance as he realized what Childe did, but thankful and blessed by the shield he placed on his balls, which he was sure was still protecting him.
And then suddenly, as if everything inside him was just waiting for the same moment after Chongyun’s recognition and misplaced optimism to settle in, a deep, loud and bright agony exploded inside Chongyun and pulled his hands into his groin. His bright blue eyes rose as his body fell limp and thoughtless. His sword was dropped as he held his balls and felt no ice there, just his young swollen orbs and the sheer, burning agony that brought an undeniable sickness to his stomach and throat before he blanked out, gasping right before he did so. He was still conscious, just unresponsive and in shock.
Childe saw Chongyun lose himself and was about to jump off the icicle to reach him as it broke and sent him tumbling to the floor, breaking a few icicles on the fall down, tearing at his grey cloth.
Childe had the wherewithal however, to pay attention as he fell and looked at Chongyun falling lifelessly to the floor. The young man’s back was somewhat ripped and bloodied, his white hoodie and shirt with several tears in them as he fell through the air.
Childe put forward his energy and effort, blasting himself with a propulsion of water to reach Chongyun and grab him with both arms as the two careened down to Teyvat beneath them.
Childe turned with Chongyun in his arms, his cold body sending chills throughout the Harbinger’s frame as he held the Exorcist tightly.
As the two were about to slam into the ground from their high Icarus descent, Childe conjured a pool of water right under his skin to absorb the fall to the ground as cleanly as it could. Water splashed everywhere and Childe’s back hit the ground with a hard yet not hazardous thud with Chongyun still protected in his arms.
Childe was thankful all that he let out was a grunt, and realized that he was going to be just fine. The pool of water did its job.
Childe collected himself with Chongyun in his arms and started to feel the young Exorcist start to twist in his embrace. Energy started to reemerge from Chongyun, and Childe could tell it wasn’t particularly positive. Painfully yet considerately, Childe carefully turned him over and lied the young man on his damaged back.
“Ahh… damn, Chongyun. I just saved your life!” Childe laughed as he looked down at Chongyun whose eyes just started to regain life and instantly realized the amount of agony coursing through the body it’s attached to.
“Oh, yeah. Sorry about that though haha… I thought you still had protection! That was a really hard hit too!”
Chongyun started choking on something as he slowly curled up, almost creaking as he pulled himself in. He was soaking wet from the sweat of battle and explosions of water, and it made everything about him look more damaged and finished. His face looked like he bit into something abusively sour and he let out a sad whimper as he desperately clutched his sack. Tears began to form at his eyes as he also started to cough breathlessly. It seemed to confuse and cross Chongyun as he lied in more distress as he tried, which in turn seemed to cause him more pain.
Childe stood up and rubbed his almost ginger hair and smiled with embarrassment. A guilty chuckle eked out as he nervously watched Chongyun, helplessly on the floor.
“It was a good fight too! We’ll… we’ll have to pick this back up at a later date. Sorry about this though! I’ll make it up to you when we meet again!”
Childe bent both his knees and lowered himself to Chongyun and slowly rubbed his lower back. Childe noticed the wounds on the young man’s back and thought about how valiantly he fought him. One of the infamous Harbingers of the Fatui. It was honorable and impressive. Childe did not expect a battle like this from an Exorcist, and he’ll have to remember to give him more respect next time.
“Take care. Sorry again, but you put up a good fight! Be proud, alright!?” Childe continued as he stood up and began to slowly walk away, feeling the pain of the fight coming back to him. His balls stung a bit, and his back was a bit torn up from the icicles and fall. He held both and slowly walked away.
“Wait…”
Childe heard something low behind him and turned around. He couldn’t make it out, but he realized whatever it was, was coming from Chongyun. Chongyun crawled to his knees and was looking at Childe with pain in his eyes.
Childe laughed and turned to face the ambitious young Exorcist.
“Don’t try to continue this fight now. We’re both sore, and you’re in a much worse spot than I am!”
Chongyun tried to push himself up to a foot, but instantly groaned like he was going to be sick, and fell back down. He held both hands between his legs and moaned as he rolled onto his back, then to the side, like a slow moving worm.
Childe cackled and approached Chongyun. The young, agonized and defeated Exorcist coughed heavily and then dry-heaved for a moment, before making a tired sound of what should've been resignation. Childe knew there wasn’t enough fight in Chongyun to give him a run, so he thought it might’ve been a waste. But the least he could do is give him a proper send off.
“Chongyun, you’ve earned my respect. You should be proud of that!”
“I… curse you. Give… back the demon.”
Childe furrowed his eyes in bewilderment for a moment, then burst out laughing.
“Oh yeah! This was all because of that demon, wasn’t it? I entirely forgot, I was having so much fun with you!”
Chongyun got to his knees and looked like he was struggling very hard to keep balance on his knees and not fall over. He spread his legs far as he was on his knees, and held his balls with both hands. Chongyun closed his eyes.
“A touch… of frost!” Chongyun painfully let out.
Childe saw a frosty animation take place around Chongyun’s groin and raised his eyebrow for a moment before he realized what happened.
“Putting your shield back on your little ones, huh? Haha, well it’ll help for a little bit. But you can’t win anymore. I got you figured out.”
Chongyun stayed on his knees and held his balls encased in fitting ice with one hand, then held his stomach with the other. Slowly, the pain started to lessen with the numbness of the ice.
Childe could tell that Chongyun was foolishly trying to get back in the fight and felt mixed emotions regarding it.
“Ah. You’re not my brother, but it almost feels like you are one to me right now. The heat of battle, am I right? Haha, well it does make things kind of complicated for me, you see.”
Childe approached Chongyun as the Exorcist began to get to his feet slowly. The weakness was clearly present on the young, determined becoming man. Childe couldn’t help but respect yet feel sorry for him.
“I’ll fight you again when you’re one hundred percent. I want it to be fair. As for now… I’m afraid I have to teach you a lesson. Trust me though. You’ll be better for this!”
Childe approached Chongyun who just got to his feet. He was soaking wet, tired and beaten down. His sweet face and young frame looked like he had quite a few too many ales at the tavern, and was going to throw up at the next one. His sword was too far away and couldn’t reach it, but he knows he still has some power within him.
“Spirit blade… attack!”
Chongyun’s hand motioned in a sluggish ritual and a weak ice sword formed above and targeted Childe, who easily dashed past it as it broke upon impact with the ground, where Childe once stood.
In range of Chongyun now, the Harbinger swung his knee up and slammed it between Chongyun’s legs, hitting directly with his iceballs. A crack broke through the silent air. Shock was clear on Chongyun’s face as he was raised by the taller Childe’s brutal knee.
Chongyun stumbled back, barely not falling via some miraculous intervention, but it did not last. Childe sent a spinning kick to Chongyun’s stomach, causing the young man to double over and drop to his knees. He lost all breath as the kick made direct contact with an unprotected, sore part of his body and he looked down at the floor painfully, a silent scream leaving his open oval mouth as if a giant hole of pain was spiraling inside his midsection. Chongyun could not think of anything else until he saw a leg rise and approach him on his doubled over state on his knees. It rose and slammed up into his iceballs, cracking under the pressure of defense of his privates, lifting him again under Childe's brutal direction.
This time, Chongyun could feel the attack, the pain being much more loud and clear than the knee before.
Childe felt Chongyun’s ice crack loudly after his second kick to his groin. Chongyun collapsed to his side and struggled to breath. gasping for a single breath as a single movement sent claymores of agony inside his young, ice-sculpted frame. Chongyun’s hands were once again connected at his balls, desperately clutching the ice surrounding them. They were cracked and weakened. Chongyun felt this under his hands and was sure those cracks were in his own testicles.
“Now, I hope you realize that your ice is useful, but it breaks just like anything else. Hit something enough… put enough pressure on it…” Childe spoke as he got on a knee and approached his hand towards where Chongyun’s met. He grasped Chongyun’s cold hands with his own, covering them as fully as he could and pressed down gently. Chongyun gasped but couldn’t move, as he helplessly looked up at Childe.
Childe’s smile was clear on his face as he looked down at Chongyun, seeing the fear, shame and pain on his young, clear and pure face. It made Childe’s smile one of pity yet honor, in a strange, sadistic curl.
Childe’s hand started to leak water and it went seeped through the cracks of Chongyun’s hands and in through the fabrics of his pants, surrounding the cracked ice surrounding his balls. Then, the water invaded Chongyun’s utmost privacy and started to surround and pressure his swollen balls, right through the cracks in the armor and between the skin and the ice it was just barely touching.
Strangely, at first it wasn’t pain Chongyun felt, but a bizarre, closing sensation and then it started to crush him and along came the increased torment. As more and more water forced it’s way in, Chongyun could feel his balls compress at a frightening pace.
“Put enough pressure, and it’ll be sure to break. Just like anything else!”
Chongyun’s face grew in mounting dread and the pure young man could only beg as the pain and pressure outmatched him. His energy began to wane and Childe sensed it clearly. This is when Childe knew that Chongyun had no way of getting back up anymore. He’s been defeated completely.
“Please, no more!”
“Oh, but we’re just starting to learn something! That ice cage isn’t doing you any good now, does it?”
Chongyun was shaking his head and trying to pull his hands away to hopefully decrease the pressure on his balls, since they were still clutching them with the utmost desperation. Childe could feel Chongyun struggle under his palm.
Childe raised his hand for a moment, allowing Chongyun to pull his hands away, but then he put his hand right down where Chongyun’s just escaped from, putting the pressure back on them and allowing for more water to get in at a quicker pace.
“Ahhh! Fa-fa fiii pleeeaase! You’re gonna break them, please!”
“If you undo your ice, the water pressure will stop and spread out. Undo it-”
The idea didn’t occur to Chongyun before, but once it did he instantly released the energy he was using to keep the cage, allowing his ice to vaporize and the water surrounding his balls to disperse and wet his pants and floor even further. Dropping that energy exhausted Chongyun, as he dispelled the last of his power. He did not have the energy or time to celebrate, as Childe did not move his hand. The handsome devil took the opportunity to grab Chongyun’s balls for himself.
“Haha… now, I know they’re just cold, so they would be more impressive normally. I remember from earlier, don’t worry! You remember, the first time. You got balls as big as your ambition Chongyun. Be proud of that!”
Chongyun’s face was scrunched and haggard, one of his legs was pressing desperately against Childe to let go. Chongyun’s face was getting very red, and if he had anymore energy within him, it would be burning him from the inside right now,
“Please… let go. You win.”
“I know I do! I’m just having fun now while doing you a favor, and making sure you hear me. I’m not putting pressure down, but I know you want me to stop. So listen up, alright friend?”
Chongyun looked desperately into Childe’s darker blue eyes and through the haze of pain he couldn’t overlook, he somehow saw someone who felt like a friend, but also a dangerous, untrustworthy villain. Someone who’d grab you by the balls with a smile, and make it sound like he’s doing you a favor.
“I want you to remember this, okay? Learn and grow from this, and then once you recover, I want you to find me at Liyue harbor. Just ask around! I’ll give you another fight if you want, and I’ll be sure to treat you right! Make up for everything. I’ll treat you like a king, alright!? No hard feelings.”
Childe let go of Chongyun’s balls, allowing the young Exorcist to finally hold his balls. A sigh of relief left his mouth as he curled over and dug his face into the ground. His wet body shook and wept, as he clutched his sore spuds in vain. His cries turned into hacking coughs and then turned back into cries again. There was nothing more Chongyun could do. He’s been completely defeated.
Childe rubbed Chongyun’s wet, ice blue hair and stood up.
“I’ll see you soon, okay! Feel better, and sorry for this. It’s nothing personal, and I hope we can be friends after this, Chongyun!”
Childe turned around and walked away, smiling and rubbing his wet light brown hair with satisfaction. He recovered the demon Signora mentioned, and he made a new friend and had an awesome fight with him. Childe looked forward to their next meeting.
Meanwhile, Chongyun shivered and whined on the floor, clutching his battered balls and bruised stomach. He tried not to cough or breathe, as doing either expanded the sore muscles in his body and caused him further anguish. If there was a demon around him right now, there’s no doubt that it wouldn’t run away in fear of the energy Chongyun was emitting. There was no energy to be fearful of. If there was any to be found, it was defeated, cold and unwilling. At the absolute best, a cold shoulder. At the worst, it was buried, shivering under a mound of ice and burning in brutal, icy despair.
However, there was no thought in Chongyun’s mind that told him this. The only thoughts in him were those of the worst agony of his life, fear that he will never recover and revenge geared towards that sly bastard Childe.
“A… friend… ha…”
Chongyun stopped using his muscles after saying this aloud and grunted as he curled up deeper and held himself as best he could. He wasn’t going to be ready to move for a while after this.
